C70600 Copper-Nickel Alloy Tube: Ideal for High-Performance Marine Engineering and Corrosion-Resistant Applications

Alloy Advantages: The material we provide is CuNi10Fe1Mn/C70600, mainly containing copper, nickel (9%-11%), iron (1.0%-1.8%), and manganese (max. 0.05%). This material has the following advantages:

  • Excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and erosion: C70600 automatically forms a dense, stable, and self-healing protective film in flowing seawater.
  • Excellent mechanical properties (room temperature to high temperature): This material exhibits a good balance of strength and toughness at room temperature, making it easy to process and install.
  • Good processing and welding properties: This alloy possesses good hot working and cold forming capabilities, and can be manufactured into tubes, plates, rods, etc., using conventional processes. Its welding performance is excellent, allowing for reliable connections using various welding methods.

Manufacturing Process:

1.Melting and Continuous Casting: For hollow products such as pipes, vertical continuous casting technology is often used to directly produce hollow ingots.

2.Plastic Processing: The cast billet is processed into the required shape and size through plastic deformation.

3.Heat Treatment: Heat treatment is the core step in controlling the final properties.

4.Welding: Appropriate beveling, welding materials (matching copper-nickel welding wire/electrode), and process parameters are required. Post-weld stress-relief annealing is often performed to ensure the corrosion resistance of the joint.
